Wolcott and Winnemac identified an opportunity to support the marketing and communications plan of a leading research institute focused on population health, equity, and community engagement. Recognizing the level of expertise required to support the organization’s true marketing and communication needs, Wolcott and Winnemac partnered with Jermaine Reid Consulting, who planned large scale biotech and health tech events, and VisualFizz, a full-service marketing agency in Chicago to conduct a detailed needs assessment and deliver a marketing plan and actionable implementation plan. Our team was coined “the triple threat” by the SVP of Communications at the parent organization and we were invited to meet with their business development consultant to co-strategize and infuse marketing into their overall strategy for business development. Our insights further drove changes in other areas of the organization including strategic planning and web development. The project was delivered on time and on budget in 2024.
Wolcott and Winnemac was initially engaged to support grant administration and provide insights to better support grant budgets and monitoring. Upon initial review of the data request and further discussion, Wolcott and Winnemac conducted a series of stakeholder interviews to understand the root cause and provided leadership with a focused needs assessment aimed at developing infrastructures, internal capabilities, SOPs, and optimizing people strategy to support the rapid growth of the organization and build the foundation for a sustainable future. Wolcott and Winnemac presented their findings and recommendations and is now helping to implement these recommendations.
A new poetry community organization and media publication engaged Wolcott and Winnemac for support in drafting their mission, vision, and values, strategic priorities and their marketing and communications plan. Wolcott and Winnemac also supported the development of a leadership advisory board and proposed changes to their digital and social media presence. The plan was accepted and approved by leadership on time and on budget. Wolcott and Winnemac continues to be involved in an ad-hoc basis.
